Triptych; 3 works each 13x13cm framed in 25x25cm wooden frames.
This surreal triptych can be read as a short story but each element is also an unique artwork on its own.
The background elements are illustrations from 'Chateaux de Normandie' by Jean de la Varende, 1958.

The black and white background is a composition of two different images of castles.
In this unreal environment angelic images of children are placed.
These images are from 1930's postcards, black and white photographies, coloured in with pastel colours.
The faceless children, the young castellans, carry flowers.
They welcome the viewer to an romantic yet eerie estate.
Signed, varnished and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
