In this portrait a woman is veiled and disguised.
In history, women have been veiled for different reasons, in the series 'Secret Agents' the women act as secret agents and spies.
This collage composition is built up with four elements.
The background is a publicity from Vogue Magazine, April 1933.
The model is from a vintage publicity for Van Kleef and Arpels.
The veil is from an illustration of a classical portrait by Van der Weyden of a young woman.
