The Rose Series is a surreal series of
mixed media compositions in which the roses reinforce the mouvement and the romantic aspect of the subjects.

This colourful and bright portrait shows three faceless women.
They seem to move with ease; joyful and happy.
The faces have been replaced by a rose that suggest their facial expressions.

The images are original cut outs from 1960's and 1970's vintage magazines.

Mixed media composition on 30x30 cm canvas board.
